This week at the Market: July 15, 2016

The Open Air Market of Stockbridge this week features a look at the past with old Stockbridge High School and middle school yearbooks for perusing and for sale, plus gluten-free baked goods, frozen home grown chickens, honey, eggs, crafts, and fresh produce from 4 – 7 p.m. on Friday.  We’ll also have a jigsaw puzzle table for those who like puzzling in the outdoors! Our live Market Music is Judy Banker and Friends from 5:30 to 7 pm.

BIKE FAIR comes to the Market! July 8, 2016

The Armory Bike Union will be at the Open Air Market this Friday to fix bikes, check for safety and have bikes for sale. Round up the kids and bicycles and come down from 4 to 7 pm. Market Music is Rick Brown & Jack Falk from 5:30 to 7 pm.

We are looking for more vendors, and need farmers or home gardeners with produce to sell. We have honey, eggs, baked goods, bread, pies and some crafts, but call Suzi and see if you are the fit we need. 517-851-7437

This week at the Market: July 1, 2016!

appetite-1239167_1280We are looking for more farmers with produce to sell now that the season is coming in. We also welcome home gardeners on a week to week basis looking to sell excess produce. Michigan is spectacular this time of year with all that we can grow here. Come and sell and have fun listening to our world famous local jazz great Gary Allen this week from 5:30 to 7. The Open Air Market loved being at A Day in the Village last weekend! Thanks to all who shopped with us and we hope to see you again throughout the summer.

We have a new vendor. Break O’ Day Farms from Webberville will join us with with processed chickens raised on grass, and taking turkey orders later in the year. Corinne bakes gluten free products too.

Our regular vendors are selling strawberries, tomatoes, salad greens, honey and eggs, along with baked goods, breads, crafts and more. We will have a few more tomato plants for sale this week, including heirloom varieties. Market Music from 5:30 to 7 features Joshua Silas.

YOUR local Open Air Market offers homegrown and homemade food, crafts and talent from our area. Kelly Schmidt and Larry Parker will be playing from 5:30 to 7pm with a unique blend of string instruments.

Watch for tomatoes coming soon from Son In Law Products. We have honey, bread, pretzels, pies, muffins, cookies, cinnamon buns and salad greens, artisan crafts, and lots of EGGS.

Friday is Opening Day, and we will have plenty of variety for you to find something for Mother’s Day, and yourself. Come join us in celebrating our 6th season from 4 to 7 pm, with Greg Z playing in the Gazebo from 5:30 to 7pm.

You will find honey, goat’s milk soap, salad greens, bread, baked goods, eggs, spring flowers and vegetable plants, and so much more.

The Open Air Market of Stockbridge announces its 2016 season!

The Open Air Market of Stockbridge announces its 2016 season, which begins on Friday May 6 from 4 to 7 pm on the NE corner of the Township Square in downtown Stockbridge. Greg Zee will play for the Market Music from 5:30 to 7 pm. We have many returning vendors this year including Beemer Honey, Son-in-Law Products, Pregitzer Farms, Bread & Baked goods from Suzi Greenway, Baskets by Kathleen, Chocolates and baking from Joey Lentine, Simply Fresh produce and fruit, Ester’s soft pretzels, and Betty’s veggies and fruit and maple syrup.  We are hoping for eggs vendors, and persons selling cheese and/or meats, and other vendors interested in becoming a part of our market.

Once again, on Friday May 20, we will sponsor the Community Garage Sale and everyone is welcome to get a space, and sell usual garage sale items on the square from 11 am to 7 pm, with set up starting at 9 am. For more information and to reserve a spot, contact Suzi Greenway at 517-851-7437.
